Director / Senior Director, Generics Pharmacy Sales
Location: Montreal or Toronto
Teva Canada is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee our Generics Pharmacy Sales business nationwide. In this high‑impact role, you will lead the national Generics Pharmacy Sales organization and play a key part in shaping our commercial strategy. As a member of the Canadian Leadership Team, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, while directly managing a team of approximately 35 employees. Reporting to the Country General Manager, you will bring a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and a strong customer engagement mindset to drive growth and performance.
How You’ll Spend Your Day

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to grow generics retail sales, strengthen customer engagement, and support customer‑facing operations such as service, demand planning, and analytics.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment on priorities, objectives, and customer needs.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a national team of ~35, delivering business‑critical insights and reimagining customer engagement models.

Target Setting & Performance: Establish sales goals, monitor performance, and drive initiatives that support revenue growth, profitability, and successful product launches.
Your Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

10+ years of sales leadership experience in pharmaceuticals (ideally generics), with deep knowledge of the Canadian retail pharmacy market.

Progressive leadership experience working with or managing functions such as marketing, product management, customer service, or supply chain.

Strong strategic and operational capabilities, with a proven ability to lead cross‑functional sales teams and drive innovation.

Demonstrated success managing large teams, budgets, and organizational change.

Up‑to‑date understanding of industry technology and data trends and their competitive implications.

Excellent communication skills; bilingual French/English preferred. English proficiency is required to communicate with clients, partners, and internal teams outside Quebec.

The typical hiring range for this position is $160,000-$210,000. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role may qualify for an annual bonus based on employment type. Certain positions may also be eligible for a sales commission structure as part of the overall compensation package.
