The Opportunity

The Senior Director, Market Research, Forecasting & Insights will be a critical leadership role within US Innovative Medicines & Biosimilars responsible for proactively collaborating with US Commercial leadership to provide best in class forecasting across Teva’s leading brands, market research and deliver insights that drive competitive advantages for Teva. 

  • Continually seeks opportunities for functional and business process improvement leveraging analytics and primary, secondary, and syndicated data and reports to support decision making.
  • Responsible for leading, developing, and coaching team members within organization.
  • Creates and maintains a culture of high performance with integrity and compliance.
  • The role will act as a true focal point to the Marketing leadership of both the Innovative and Biosimilar businesses in the US, as well as a connection point with other key roles across US Commercial
  • The Senior Director will be expected to advise and partner with all levels of management across the organization and will therefore require a high degree of business acumen and understanding, strong collaboration and interdependent partnering skills

 

How You’ll Spend Your Day

  • Serve as a key strategic partner to US Commercial leadership through active involvement in strategy development, business planning, and brand performance optimization
  • Ensure that forecasting and insight plans are aligned with leadership priorities and appropriately communicated.
  • Lead primary research efforts of all inline and pre-launch assets, implementing best in class continuous improvement.
  • Lead all competitive intelligence aspects in the commercial space that is relevant to Teva, utilizing evolving innovative tools and partnering with best-in-class vendors.
  • Lead development and implementation of best practices in Market Access analytics to enable effective access strategy and tactical approaches.
  • Lead best-in-class approaches to omnichannel performance analytics driving towards full integration with next best action.
  • Champion strategic integration of different sources of information to generate true triangulation for best insights.
  • Drive significant cross-functional collaboration with Brand Teams, Sales Organization, Global Strategy, Value and Access, Finance, Analytics and Data Sciences, Sales Operations, Omnichannel Marketing, Legal, Procurement, Compliance, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, BD, Patient Services, Commercial Excellence, and R&D.
  • Provide a clear vision, mission, and process for team members in the organization as well as build best practice capabilities.
  • Deliver on the Commercial Operations & Analytics mission in support of the US Commercial team through leadership of direct and indirect reports working across primary and secondary market research, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and market analytics.
  • Provide strategic oversight of external vendor management and control the department budget in alignment with the business needs.

Your Skills and Experience

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably focused in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in strategic forecasting, insights, market research, business analytics, finance, or a related field is required. 
  • Experience working in healthcare is required, pharmaceutical experience is a must
  • Several years of direct people management experience is required.
  • Broad organization experience working across brands, therapeutic areas, functions, strategic initiatives, etc
  • Experience with analytical tools is required

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 

Approximately 10-20% travel throughout the US, which may include weekend and overnight and periodic international travel.
