The Position

This position reports to the Mgr Quality Assurance and forms part of the Quality Assurance team. The main role will be to lead and manage the Quality Assurance Operations Support team. In this position the selected candidate will need to motivate the team whilst ensure that production and customer requirements are met, set project deadlines and departmental goals are achieved. In this position, the selected candidate will also be liaising with colleagues across the organisation. The Coordinator will lead problem solving issues related to packaging material and carry out necessary investigations that will be requested. The selected Coordinator will keep the highest quality/GMP considerations in mind at all times whilst striving to achieve the necessary output through the team.

The Applicant

The ideal candidate must be confident in communicating effectively and assertively with colleagues across all levels in the organisation and must be highly organised. The coordinator must be able to prioritise daily duties as necessary and allocate work adequately to the team. He/she will be proactive and hardworking as well as dynamic and outgoing. The ideal candidate will have a very good eye for detail and precision in work are a must. The selected candidate must be willing to work outside normal working hours to achieve results.  The candidate should have a Diploma level of Education, however a degree level of education and/or experience within Quality Operations will be considered an asset.
