How You’ll Spend Your Day

  • Lead and drive process and equipment continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing facilities.
  • Identify potential improvement opportunities and conduct preliminary technical and financial analyses to develop business cases.
  • Manage manufacturing and engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Evaluate and optimize current change-over management processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and implement lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities across Manufacturing and Engineering departments.
  • Contribute to the definition of technical specifications and requirements for equipment, systems, and facilities.
  • Provide technical expertise in the design, operation, maintenance, and improvement of facilities, utilities, systems, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Participate in cross-functional and cross-departmental projects.
  • Support qualification and validation activities for facilities, services, systems, and plant equipment.
  • Participate in quality-related activities including audits, self-inspections, and compliance initiatives.
  • Execute modifications, upgrades, and installation work related to manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Maintain and expand operational and maintenance knowledge of facilities, systems, and equipment.
  • Perform fault diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair coordination, and implementation of corrective improvements when required.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with EHS standards, cGMP requirements, company policies, and engineering best practices.
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required
  • Previous experience in a similar manufacturing projects or engineering role is considered an asset.
  • Experience within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies is advantageous.
