How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Lead and drive process and equipment continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing facilities.
- Identify potential improvement opportunities and conduct preliminary technical and financial analyses to develop business cases.
- Manage manufacturing and engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Evaluate and optimize current change-over management processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and implement lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities across Manufacturing and Engineering departments.
- Contribute to the definition of technical specifications and requirements for equipment, systems, and facilities.
- Provide technical expertise in the design, operation, maintenance, and improvement of facilities, utilities, systems, and manufacturing equipment.
- Participate in cross-functional and cross-departmental projects.
- Support qualification and validation activities for facilities, services, systems, and plant equipment.
- Participate in quality-related activities including audits, self-inspections, and compliance initiatives.
- Execute modifications, upgrades, and installation work related to manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Maintain and expand operational and maintenance knowledge of facilities, systems, and equipment.
- Perform fault diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair coordination, and implementation of corrective improvements when required.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with EHS standards, cGMP requirements, company policies, and engineering best practices.
- Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing projects or engineering role is considered an asset.
- Experience within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies is advantageous.
