The opportunity

Are you passionate about aligning people strategies with business goals in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment? Join our team as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

How you’ll spend your day

As an HRBP, you will act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, driving organizational effectiveness and fostering a high-performance culture. You’ll support workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, and compliance—ensuring our HR initiatives meet the unique demands of pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
  • Analyze HR data to inform decision-making and policy development.

Talent Management & Development

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit top talent in line with GMP standards.
  • Support onboarding and training programs tailored to the pharma environment.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate learning initiatives.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations.
  • Promote feedback, recognition, and continuous improvement.

Performance Management

  • Guide managers through performance reviews and improvement plans.
  • Align performance goals with regulatory and business requirements.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure HR practices comply with Maltese labour laws and EU GMP guidelines.
  • Support audits and maintain accurate HR documentation.
  • Promote EHS compliance in line with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

Compensation & Benefits

Your experience and qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • MQF Level 6 in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, including 1+ year in a business partner or generalist role ideally within Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Maltese labour laws and HR best practices.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
