The opportunity

We are currently on the lookout for an Assoc Dir Opex.  Reporting to the Site General Manager this role will be on a full-time indefinite basis and based at the TEVA site in Bulebel.    

How you’ll spend your day

The Assoc Dir OpEx will lead, manage & support in executing the ongoing Operational Excellence (OpEx) Program for the Bulebel site in line with the local & Corporate Operations Strategic Objectives for the site and the Global OpEx program.

Achieved through a series of transformations & continuous improvements activities, with the definite objective of improving Operating Systems, Management Infrastructure and Mind-set Culture  & Behaviours, leading to improved performance in Quality, Service and Competitiveness of the site.

The Assoc Dir OpEx will liaise & co-ordinate with all departments to ensure OpEx short & longer term targets & goals are met as well as mentoring & training staff in various departments on OpEx methodologies and tools.

Your experience and qualifications

Skills:  - Strong in data management and ability to analyse and interpret data and establish key takeaways - Ability to work collaboratively and drive influence at all levels of the organisation - Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills

Qualifications: Relevant university degree (Engineering, Technical, Pharmaceutical, Chemical) or proven experience (**Refer to 'Experience' section below**) - A Lean Six Sigma Belt certification (green or upper) will be considered an asset

Experience: Proven experience in OpEx in a management position or relevant university degree (**Refer to 'Qualifications' section above**) - Trained in Lean with experience in Operational Excellence and process improvements projects execution - Extensive experience in leadership positions preferably in operations with experience working with teams.
