How You’ll Spend Your Day

 

  • Perform welding and fabrication works, including metal repairs, structural modifications, and custom fabrication jobs as required.
  • Carry out painting, surface preparation, and finishing works across facilities and equipment.
  • Execute general handyman duties, including minor repairs, installations, and upkeep of buildings and infrastructure.
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on buildings, building services, and plant equipment.
  • Assist technicians and other personnel in maintenance and process-related tasks.
  • Maintain the site’s exterior building shell, including repairs and upkeep.
  • Interpret and execute work requests from various departments efficiently.
  • Plan and prepare materials, tools, and resources required for assigned jobs.
  • Take ownership of small jobs, including execution, completion, and clean-up.
  • When required, lead small teams to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of workshops, plant rooms, service areas, and surrounding facilities.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues and propose improvement actions proactively.
  • Follow all EHS policies, cGMP requirements, and company procedures at all times.
  • Participate in training and assist in on-the-job training of new employees.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication (e.g., stinless steel).
  • Experience in painting and general building maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability in multiple trades, such as:
    • Plumbing / pipe fitting
    • Basic welding
    • Plastering and painting
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or industrial environment is an asset.
  • Good literacy in English.
