The opportunity
As EMSO Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various aspects of procurement within your assigned (sub)category and spend/supplier scope.

Zagreb (HR) or Sofia (BG)
How you’ll spend your day
- building and nurturing relationships with global and regional suppliers, negotiating best-in-class contracts, and implementing supplier development strategies to drive excellence
- participating in supplier executive reviews, quarterly meetings, and annual assessments
- establishing a robust savings initiatives pipeline and diligently recording them in tools like Wave
- planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on savings projects to meet agreed-upon targets
- contributing to Teva's Free Cash Flow and Working Capital targets by negotiating favorable contract terms and conditions
- developing a multi-year category strategy aligned with relevant stakeholders, recognizing the strategic importance of our External Manufacturing portfolio
- implementing these strategies across regions and countries, achieved through collaboration with External Manufacturing Teams and regular progress review meetings
- engaging and influencing key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of sourcing strategies
- supporting supplier relationship management and supplier risk management
- meeting service level, quality, compliance, cost savings, and continuous improvement targets
- act as procurement representative in technology transfer projects
- participating in meetings to facilitate communication and follow-up within the procurement team

You have…
… Bachelor’s degree in business, natural sciences, procurement, engineering, technology, supply chain, or related field (MBA degree preferred)
… minimum of 5 years relevant progressive procurement, contract manufacturing, supply chain or business development experience
… minimum of 2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
… advanced capabilities in sourcing & supplier strategies, sourcing methodology, cost optimization, supplier relationship management, negotiation skills, financial/legal aspects with procurement, and supplier risk management
… professional certification in purchasing or supply chain is desirable, e.g. from ISM (CPSM, CSM, CPM), from APICS (CPIM, CIRM), from EPIM, etc.
… thorough knowledge of SAP, Ariba, MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneNote, Outlook).
… Six Sigma (yellow or green belt) preferred
