How you’ll spend your day
-
Calculating Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) based on Activity-Based Costing (ABC) methodology
-
Supporting new launches with costing projections for various scenarios
-
Managing period-end close process and ensuring accuracy
-
Analyzing production variance and purchase price variance
-
Providing finance support to Operating Expenditures (OPEX) projects
-
Estimating COGS for Long-Range Planning (LRP)
-
Communicating with internal and external auditors
-
Coordinating weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual absorption planning calculations in cooperation with Operations management
-
Participating in the preparation of yearly budget and quarterly forecast process
-
Monitoring, reporting, and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
-
Providing insight and guidance to the leadership team to support strategic planning and decision-making
Your experience and qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Accounting, or a comparable combination of education and relevant professional experience
-
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
-
Strong understanding of accounting principles is an advantage
-
Practical experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) is an advantage
-
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-
Experience with SAP ERP systems and Hyperion is considered an asset
-
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
