The opportunity

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business operations within the pharmaceutical industry. Your expertise in business analysis and application tools will contribute to successful project management, system implementation, and validation efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and provide technical solutions to enhance efficiency while meeting quality standards and regulatory requirements.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Project Coordination and Validation:
    • Serves as a liaison and business partner for the R&D business function.
    • Analyzes business needs and validates solutions with clients, working closely with global and regional IT teams.
    • Collaborate with customers, IT colleagues, and stakeholders to support existing processes and technologies in the R&D business area.
    • Identify business requirements, analyze business processes, and assess their impact on application delivery and development.
    • Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
    • Integrate activities with business units to ensure accurate project cost estimation and scheduling.
  • Technical Management:
    • Work with internal and cross-functional IT technical teams to manage tasks related to systems configuration, development and interface with instruments.
    • Generate technical validation documentation deliverables to maintain project compliance.
    • Analyze business and user needs, documenting requirements and translating them into proper system requirement specifications.
    • Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and address system-related queries
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison to technical support groups (both internal and external vendors) for technical issue management and resolution.
    • Provide routine status updates to project leadership and executive management.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT project management and business analysis (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle, validation methodologies, and business analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools (e.g., HP ALM, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Office 365).
  • Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, GxP guidelines.
  • Experience working in a global environment, with fluency in English.
