Our Team, Your Impact

The Associate Director, Global Source to Pay (S2P) Process Excellence Lead is the global process owner for Teva’s end‑to‑end Source to Pay (S2P) process, spanning Source to Contract (S2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P).

This role is accountable for defining, governing, and continuously improving the global S2P operating model, including process standards, controls, and governance mechanisms that determine how Procurement operates worldwide. The role ensures that S2P processes are standardized, compliant, scalable, digitally enabled, and consistently implemented across regions, sites, and shared services.

A core component of the role is leading process‑driven digital and AI‑enabled transformation across the S2P lifecycle. The role ensures that automation, advanced analytics, and AI capabilities are embedded into process design in a controlled, compliant, and value‑driven manner.

This position does not manage day‑to‑day procurement operations. Instead, it focuses on process ownership, design authority, governance, and continuous improvement, enabling effective execution while safeguarding compliance, auditability, and value delivery.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

Global Process Ownership & Governance

  • Own and govern the end‑to‑end global Source to Pay (S2P) process, ensuring a single, coherent operating model across S2C and P2P.
  • Define, maintain, and evolve the global S2P process architecture, including process flows, roles, responsibilities, handoffs, and embedded controls.
  • Act as the global process design authority for S2P, approving or rejecting regional deviations, waivers, and exceptions in line with governance standards.
  • Lead global S2P governance forums and decision processes, resolving cross‑functional design issues involving Procurement, Finance, Legal, IT, Quality, and Compliance.
  • Ensure all S2P process documentation, standards, policies, and templates are current, controlled, and easily accessible.

Digital & AIEnabled Transformation

  • Act as business design authority for S2P‑related digital and AI solutions (e.g., sourcing platforms, contract lifecycle management, P2P systems).
  • Ensure digital and AI solutions align with global process standards and do not introduce local workarounds or control gaps.
  • Partner with Procurement Systems & Solutions, IT, Data, and Analytics teams to identify, prioritize, and scale AI and automation use cases aligned with S2P objectives and value delivery.
  • Support process‑driven system implementations and enhancements by translating business and compliance requirements into scalable process design.

Continuous Improvement & Standardization

  • Identify structural inefficiencies, fragmentation, and control gaps across the S2P lifecycle and lead corrective design actions.
  • Own and drive the global S2P continuous improvement and simplification roadmap, balancing efficiency, user experience, and control requirements.
  • Monitor adoption of global S2P standards and support change management activities to ensure consistent deployment across regions and business units.
  • Partner with Global Category Management and other Procurement teams to align process standards with business needs while maintaining global consistency

Your Skills and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

  • 8+ years of progressive procurement experience, with demonstrated exposure across end‑to‑end Source to Pay (S2P) processes in a global or regional environment.
  • Strong practical exposure to Category Management and Strategic Sourcing, including sourcing strategy development, RFx processes, supplier evaluation, award governance, and transition into downstream contracting and P2P execution.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, governing, or deploying standardized processes, frameworks, or operating models within S2C and/or P2P.
  • Experience contributing to digital or AI‑enabled transformation initiatives, particularly within Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or other enterprise functions.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in global, matrixed organizations, influencing senior and cross‑functional stakeholders without direct line authority.
  • Experience translating business, regulatory, and compliance requirements into clear, scalable process standards and governance mechanisms.

Also Good to Have

  • Master’s degree, MBA, or professional procurement certification (CIPS, ISM, or equivalent).
  • Experience acting as a process owner, design authority, or governance lead for procurement or adjacent end‑to‑end enterprise processes.
  • Experience supporting or leading global procurement transformation, harmonization, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience operating in controlled, compliance‑driven environments, with solid understanding of internal controls, audit expectations, and risk management.
