The opportunity
As the Associate Director, Global Procurement – Travel, Meetings, and Card Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing global category strategies for Teva’s Travel, Meetings, and Card services. How you’ll spend your day

Developing Strategic Vision: Lead the creation and execution of a 2-5 year global strategy for Travel, Meetings, and Card categories, aligning with organizational goals to drive cost savings, innovation, and compliance.

Managing Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to optimize performance, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure delivery against KPIs and SLAs.

Engaging Stakeholders Globally: Collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups, including IT, R&D, Marketing, Procurement Operations, and Compliance teams, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of category strategies across 60+ countries.

Conducting Analytics and Reporting: Leverage procurement tools to analyze spend data, forecast savings opportunities, and report on key metrics, including cost reductions, supplier performance, and working capital improvements.

Driving Operational Excellence: Consult with Travel, Meetings, and Card Operations teams to improve service delivery, streamline processes, and identify opportunities for optimization.

Leading Supplier Sourcing and Negotiations: Oversee the end-to-end sourcing process, including RFx design, negotiation preparation (BATNA, cleansheet-based negotiations), and contract management to achieve performance-based agreements.

Embedding Sustainability Initiatives: Incorporate environmental and sustainability goals into procurement strategies, regularly tracking and reporting progress.

Facilitating Innovation and Best Practices: Conduct workshops, brainstorming sessions, and benchmarking exercises to identify innovative approaches and ensure adoption of industry-leading practices in procurement.
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Hospitality, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in procurement with a focus on Travel, Meetings, and Card categories.
- 3+ years in global roles with multi-country exposure and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proficient in core procurement areas such as category management, business engagement, and supplier management required.
- Expert knowledge of travel management, meetings management, and card services, including suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills, including cost modeling and spend analysis.
- Exceptional relationship management, leadership, and communication abilities, with a strong executive presence required.
- High level of credibility with internal stakeholders and suppliers required.
- Proven expertise in category management, supplier negotiations, and procurement technologies, such as Ariba.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations, sustainability targets, and procurement innovations.
- Expert-level proficiency in MS Office technologies.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in another language is an advantage.
Other requirements
Onsite presence requires 3-days per week.
Travel requirements: up to 10-20% domestic or international.
