The opportunity
Associate Director, Global Network Architect will be responsible to interface with management and vendors to develop and implement network solutions to meet business requirements.
How you’ll spend your day
- Design and manage the rollout of critical network infrastructures to support products and services, on both a strategic (long term) and tactical (immediate term) level.
- Perform technical cost analysis of CAPEX\OPEX for planning, design, installation.
- Perform technical cost analysis of on-going administration and management of core networks.
- Ensure that network infrastructure is fully documented.
- Ensure network infrastructure is performing as required for SLA guarantees and expectations by means of specific metrics and measurements.
- Provide technical expertise for the development of new strategies.
- Enhance existing network product sets.
Your experience and qualifications
- Experience with assessments, project planning, design and hands on implementation of network infrastructure solutions for large enterprise corporate.
- Design experience with Center network, WAN, LAN, WLAN, and Modern technical tools for Network monitoring
- Professional guidance for new technologies and applications for high-level designs and monitor network performance based on specified requirements.
- Proven extensive experience and knowledge of the Cisco and Aruba products (Routers and switches)
- Proven extensive experience and knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DWDM and MPLS.
- Proven extensive experience and knowledge in Network Security including NX-OS/IOS hardening and implementations of GRE, DMVPN and IPSEC tunneling.
- Proven extensive experience and knowledge of Network Architecture, understanding of networking layer 2 and 3.
- Strong ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Network latency testing and mitigation
- Proven extensive experience and knowledge with professional designing of logical and physical network diagrams.
- Proven experience with Network auto-discovery tools
- Complex routing, switching, and ISP environments.
- User Remote Access VPN
- Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point)
- Routing protocols
- Thorough understanding of most enterprise IPv4 protocols and emerging IPv6 deployments
- Strong familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS)
- Familiarly with network configuration, automation tooling, telemetry, authentication technologies
- Familiarity with Network Troubleshooting Tool Suites
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10 or more years of experience including network architecture design, analyzing, configuring and troubleshooting of complex enterprise networks projects.
- Industry certifications
- Proven experience with Network management products
- Proven experience with Network monitoring tracing products and tools
- Network OS
- SEIM
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills at a senior level both internally and externally.
- Able to engage and manage up, down and across the IT and business.
- Able to handle crisis situations, develop and execute a response plan.
- Strong IT vendor management skills.
- Innovative and passionate about public cloud technologies
- Work as a flexible team player - independently as well as collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills
