Teva is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join our legal team at Global Business Services, Center of Excellence. The successful candidate must be a team-oriented professional with a “global” perspective and an enthusiastic, positive attitude. This person will have the personality to build constructive working relationships across the legal department and Teva’s business units for the benefit of the organization. 


Essential Duties and Job Functions:


  • Create, update and organize contract files (electronically and hard copy)
  • Manage database of templates
  • Work with internal and external customers related to contracts
  • Monitor all contract deadlines and conditions
  • Review of Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs), assist with redlining, coordinate for signatures, follow up for fully executed copy and updating CDA database and file accordingly
  • Participate in negotiating and modifying standard CDAs and assists in negotiating and modifying non-standard CDAs 
  • Review revisions to Teva’s General Terms and Conditions
  • Review revisions to Teva’s other standard templates for lower complexity 
  • Respond to internal contract inquiries; provide internal business partners contract details
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage priority list of documents in legal review and contract negotiation
  • Provide general support and assistance to legal counsel
  • Process new agreements for review by legal counsel and approval through various departments



Education and Experience:


  • 3 years of work experience in legal field (in a law firm, in-house or administration)
  • Degree in Law is required
  • Experience with contractual work in English
  • Experience with the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare area is an advantage




  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain the high standard of integrity within the Legal Department
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills with a focus on the details
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
