Purpose of the job

You will be part of the high performing B&N CNS Team sharing projects and best practices, it means that you will provide medical leadership and product support in local subsidiary in close co-operation with medical colleagues and within defined CNS global product plans and strategies with particular focus on external customer engagement/interactions.  Additionally you will liaise with Teva Pharma Europe (TPE) ensuring alignment and expertise. You will also work closely with colleagues in R&D to attract global clinical trials to the B&N.

Responsibilities

•    Initiate medical activities and projects supporting the launch and positioning of Teva’s products 
•    Provide medical/scientific input to access/reimbursement process & product defence 
•    Establish key product medical activities, including post launch trials and investigator led studies to improve clinical and commercial impact of new and existing products
•    Attend key meetings and conferences to represent the company and ensure that internal knowledge is up-to-date 
•    Responsible for developing and delivering Medical Work Plan(s) for relevant therapeutic areas Contribute in investigator identification and stay abreast of relevant clinical trial activities
•    Work closely with commercial colleagues to provide expert medical/scientific input to support key products and programmes
•    Plan, conduct and follow-up on Advisory Board meetings 
•    To develop, cultivate and expand professional contacts as well as in depth knowledge with opinion leaders, nurses and patient organisations in the context of ongoing and planned projects. 
•    Provide product and company advocacy of product usage with identified customers through a variety of Medical to Medical interactions 
•    Support local compliance activities, Internal and external training and production of necessary training materials, complying with existing legislation 
•    “Horizon scanning” of relevant publications and production of technical bulletins/briefing documents, training programmes, etc, as appropriate 
•    Support for Medical Information Service to ensure provision of accurate information to external/internal customers
•    The job holder should aspire to divide his/her time approx. 60/40% between external expert facing activities and internal tasks. 
•    Teach marketers and sales force in disease and product knowledge 

 

Qualifications

•    Preferable MD, PhD, Pharmacists or similar. Research in life science and/or industry experience from similar jobs an advantage 
•    At least 2 years’ experience in similar role supporting innovative products in the pharmaceutical industry 
•    Able and willing to work independently under guided supervision, initiate and complete assignments and projects, ambitious, high energy level, extrovert and social, attention to details, a good understanding of the value of Medical Affairs
•    Expert knowledge inCNS field is a merit
•    Strong ability to interpret and present scientific and medical information 
•    A dynamic self-starter with a high level of personal drive
•    Fluent in Dutch, French & English 
•    PC skills & mastery of MS office
