Job Description


Under general supervision, the Supply Chain Specialist II maintains orders, processes purchase orders and requisitions, maintains files, coordinates document control duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
  • Manages Recalls via approved Standard Operating Procedures already in place
  • Collaborates with team to review and coordinate vendor setups
  • Communicates with suppliers to track and expedite orders and communicate with warehouse to alert them
  • Updates ETA and pertinent tracking information in the order tracking systems
  • Processes orders as directed by company processes
  • Serves as back-up for Buyers, during time off
  • Performs additional administrative responsibilities, including mailings, copying, misc. filing, maintaining spreadsheets to tally cost and usage on non-inventory items
  • Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are established and met
  • Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations
  • Performs related duties as assigned


Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years of relative supply chain experience
  • Associate’s Degree or higher is preferred
