Job Description
Lead and coordinate biologics analytical testing to support detailed product characterization and process development studies. Utilize expertise and technical leadership skills to resolve issues and contribute to CMC project teams. Engage in inclusive/ diverse/ innovative/ creative culture in delivering business results. Contribute beyond self to the learning and growth of others.
Responsibilities
- Conduct biologics analytical testing using LC-MS for product and process characterization
- Perform MS analyses including, but not limited to, intact/reduced mass, peptide mapping, glycan analysis, primary sequence confirmation and elucidation, and determination of post-translational modifications
- Operate and maintain equipment in a qualified state
- Document experiments in electronic notebooks and technical protocols/reports to ensure data integrity
- Serve as analytical representative and technical SME on CMC project teams
- Author analytical method and characterization sections of regulatory submissions
- Interact with internal and external contacts in providing solutions to complex scientific/technical issues associated with specific projects
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Two (2) years of experience in analytical method development using HPLC, UPLC, and MS platforms and software packages
- A Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline with a minimum of five (5) years of lab experience in biotech/biopharma or CRO industry OR a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of lab experience in biotech/biopharma, CRO industry or related industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- LC-MS/MS-based characterization of monoclonal antibodies and fusion proteins
- Experience with qualification of analytical methods
- Regulatory experience with analytical method and data sections
