The opportunity
Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented team member to join the Office of Business Integrity (OBI). The OBI is part of Teva’s Global Compliance & Ethics Department and serves as an independent, dedicated team charged with objectively and confidentially addressing reports of misconduct that violate Teva’s Code of Conduct, values, policies or laws. This includes reports made to the global Teva Integrity Hotline, which the OBI oversees and manages. The Program Manager will serve as the “owner” of all data processed through the OBI to ensure accuracy, integrity and preservation and will assist in ensuring a coordinated and consistent response to all reported cases of misconduct. This position will work with the third-party hotline provider, and manage the hotline infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of the telephone and web-based reporting mechanisms, and case management system. This position will support and provide reporting, statistics and trending for key stakeholders, which will allow the Company to mitigate risks through proactive initiatives based on the intelligence collected, ultimately helping secure our employee trust and business reputation. This position will report to the Head of the OBI and also provide support as needed to the team of investigators.
How you’ll spend your day
- Database case management for reported cases of potential fraud or misconduct received via hotline, telephone, OBI email or other.
- Where possible, follow-up on reports lacking the information or detail needed to make case assessment.
- Assess reports for appropriate categorization of issues are being reported.
- Ensure information within each report is accurately captured in the required fields in the case management system
- Assist in the assignment of investigative responsibilities.
- Coordinate case translation efforts to ensure timely and organized response to complaints received in various languages.
- Track open internal investigations by actively monitoring the investigative database for case due dates and follow-up with assigned investigators.
- Update the case management system with key documents
- Prepare monthly, quarterly or other reports and related reports and presentations as required.
- Manage, track, coordinate and support all locations globally by ensuring they have hotline reporting posters at all sites, with local reporting information and in local languages
- Support OBI awareness campaigns to include development of materials and presentations; conduct awareness and process training as required.
- Other projects and duties as required/assigned.
Your experience and qualifications
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- A minimum of 3 years overall experience required including: 3+ in a global pharmaceutical or healthcare company and 3+ in compliance or related security/investigative function preferred. Paralegal and / or data management experience would be considered.
- Possesses pharmaceutical and related Compliance/Security program knowledge.
- Experience in managing a corporate hotline program and related data privacy laws preferred.
- Bilingual / Multi-lingual preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Database Management (preferable previous hotline management experience), strong presentation skills, ability to analyze data and develop statistics and trends to provide actionable and meaningful information.
- Demonstrates the ability to work in collaboration with all business units and various levels of management; Strong verbal and written communications skills are required. Ability to communicate in a concise yet thorough way.
- Superior attention to detail and organization skills are essential. Ability to handle information with utmost sensitivity, thoughtfulness, and discretion, and be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Possess knowledge of investigative strategies, techniques, and coordination to ensure consistent assessments, responses and internal processes.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Prioritizes and organizes work effectively to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Ability to enlist assistance and cooperation from all levels in the organization.
- Possesses ability to prioritize workload in an environment which requires a very timely response to almost all job expectations due to the nature of the position.
