Job Description

As the Clinical Pharmacologist you will be responsible for the strategy, planning, direction, execution and data interpretation of Clinical Pharmacology (CP) studies. 


This critical role in the early phases of drug development will require you to interact with a wide range of functions within R&D and collaboration with non-clinical, and clinical development as well as matrix integration with Pharmacometrics. 


You will lead all the CP activities for one or more programs in the TEVA early development portfolio with supervision. You may represent the CP department at internal (study, project, clinical team) and external meetings (with regulatory authorities, collaborators, and/or vendors).  In addition, you will contribute for the CP sections in documentation submitted to the regulatory authorities and participate in any required communication or interaction such as replies regarding CP questions during submissions. 


You will apply model-based drug development concepts to impact decision making and be expected to have experience and relevant training in pharmacokinetics/pharmacometrics. 


What you will bring to the role:

  • PhD in pharmaceutical sciences/pharmacology or other relevant life sciences or PharmD with significant clinical pharmacology background.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical pharmacology.
  • Experience in clinical research (designing/managing clinical studies and Good Clinical Practices).
  • Experience in PK and/or population PK/PD analysis.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a complex multi-disciplinary and global environment
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills
  • Experience in therapeutic area of interest (respiratory, immunology, movement disorders) preferred.
  • Experience with biologics 
  • Experience with devices
