Job Description

As the Planner/Scheduler you will provide CMMS support services to staff, assists in managing the system at various levels including coordination, planning, and auditing. You will schedule PM’s and corrective work for internal technicians as well as external contractors.


The Planner/Scheduler utilizes the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support the BOSS (Biologics Operations Support Services) group.  You will be responsible for creating work orders and assigning work orders, Preventative Maintenance and Calibrations to the technicians. In addition, you will manage data in the CMMS including data loads, use of data and systems auditing. You should also be able to follow applicable SOP’s/Work Instructions and comply with cGxP regulations for laboratory and manufacturing operations.


Other duties:

  • Perform walk downs and tagging of assets
  • Provide planning services
  • Assist with training staff in use of CMMS
  • Provide back-up support to the Automation and Equipment Engineering Team Leader as necessary
  • Review regulated and non-regulated Work Orders, PM’s and Calibration records for compliance and accuracy 



What you will bring to the role:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a planner/scheduler within pharmaceutical environment preferably within biologics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read, comprehend and apply written and verbal instruction accurately
  • Able to complete work in an appropriate timeframe and works efficiently
  • Ability to follow job procedures and maintain work area in a safe and organized manner
