Job Description

As the Warehouse Manager you will lead a team within the Manufacturing Service group at the state-of-the art biologics manufacturing facility located in West Chester, PA. You will contribute to supporting GXP manufacturing of Drug Substance and Drug Products of Teva’s proprietary and biosimilar biologics pipeline.  This position’s responsibilities include warehousing operations of incoming raw material and consumables along with the inventorying and storage of products generated by Teva’s internal manufacturing group.  In addition, this role has the potential inclusion of weigh & dispense, and GMP Cleaning of the GMP operational space in the manufacturing facility. 


You will Lead and develop a team of individuals (full time employees and contract workers as appropriate) within Manufacturing Services as well as oversee and further develop robust processes and systems to perform key functions within Manufacturing Services. Day to day operations within Manufacturing Services to include scheduling of activities, work assignments, logbook/data reviews, training, audit preparedness and continuous improvements efforts.


Other duties on the warehousing side require you to be responsible for receipt, inspection and release of materials needed for biologics manufacturing and testing according to SOPs and good laboratory practices. You will manage the above inventories within the GMP warehouse and electronic systems.


Due to the nature of this role you will be required to spend the majority of your day standing, walking, bending and/or reaching.


Other responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts in documentation (SOP authoring, reviews, and updates) as needed.
  • Lead and support investigations in partnership with Quality Assurance and Operations as needed.
  • Managing inventories at external sites as needed.
  • Release and staging of materials to the GMP manufacturing team.


What you will bring to the role:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with receipt, inspection and release of materials needed for biologics manufacturing
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading/managing individuals or teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of cGMPs as applicable to biologic operations
  • Able to read, interpret, and follow SOP’s, batch documents and other procedures
  • 5 years’ experience with electronic inventorying systems
  • 5 years’ experience leading a warehousing operation that supported biologics manufacturing that relied on Single-Use technology 
  • Advanced degree
