The opportunity

You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program. In this role, you will provide Environmental Health and Safety support to Teva sites in the management of our programs (Occupational Safety, Air, Water, Waste, Stewardship, External Reporting, Spill Management) and prepare Regulatory Submissions.
Location: Onsite at our West Chester, PA campus.
How you’ll spend your day
Tasks & responsibilities
• During the program, you will gain in-depth insights into the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) department.
• Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in our daily business and be assigned tasks within diverse projects.
• Improves safety culture and implements plans and programs that strives to achieve zero incidents, zero injuries and zero environmental releases.
• Teams with EHS Managers and operating divisions in the development and execution of EHS management system standards, plans and programs.
• Provides risk assessments for processes and activities. Assist with Industrial Hygiene assessments
• Implements occupational safety requirements i.e. lockout tag out, machine guarding
• Provides guidance on Personal Protective Equipment.
• Assist in the maintenance of chemical inventories at all sites.
• Source suitable EHS-related supplies (e.g., PPE) to ensure that all requirements EHS specifications are met.
• Provide guidance to employees on the proper use and maintenance of safety-related equipment.
• Develop and conduct interactive EHS training.
Your experience and qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program of study with a concentration in Environmental and Occupational Health Studies preferred.
• Excellent command of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and creating awareness about EHS programs and practices.
