We are seeking a motivated and curious individual to join our team as a Digital Bioprocess Engineer. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to develop expertise at the intersection of biologics manufacturing, automation, and digital technologies. You will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and systems that support the digital transformation of bioprocessing operations.
How you’ll spend your day
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Learn and support the implementation of digital twin technologies to simulate and optimize biologics processes.
• Assist in the digitalization of process data, ensuring accurate and efficient data capture, storage, and analysis.
• Provide technical support for existing GxP (Good Practice) systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process development, automation, IT, and process engineering to support digital initiatives.
• Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts for digital systems and automation platforms.
• Document procedures, configurations, and system changes in accordance with GxP requirements.
Your experience and qualifications
Qualifications / Education Requirements:
• HS Diploma required
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field
Technical Skills preferred
• Basic understanding of biologics or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with automation systems (e.g., SCADA, PLCs, DCS) or a willingness to learn
• Introductory knowledge of data systems (e.g., data historians, SQL, or cloud platforms)
• Interest in digital technologies such as digital twins, process modeling, or simulation tools
• Understanding of GxP or regulated environments (a plus, but not required)
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
• Ability to analyze process data and identify trends or anomalies
• Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset
• Willingness to troubleshoot technical issues and learn from hands-on experience
Soft Skills
• Strong communication skills to work across multidisciplinary teams (engineering, IT, development)
