The opportunity
Teva‘s Global Research & Development (R&D) organization is devoted to the development of new medicines, devices and combination products that provide meaningful therapeutic benefit to patients worldwide. Combining creativity, scientific rigor, and our extensive knowledge on a broad range of technologies, our scientists, engineers, medical doctors, and project leaders across the globe use their expertise to innovate novel biologics, biosimilars, small molecule specialty medicines, generics and over-the-counter therapies.
The Biological Researcher I in the Bioassay Department of Biologics CMC peforms method development, troubleshooting, routine sample testing, and method qualification of PCR and ELISA-based assays to support both clinical and commercial staged programs. This position provides exciting opportunities to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in regulatroy submissions, and learn and execute a variety of assays. This role reports to an Associate Director of the Bioassay Department.
How you’ll spend your day
Your experience and qualifications
- B.S. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related field
- Minimum of 1 year pharmaceutical industry experience
- Preferred experience in quantitative PCR and ELISA-based assays according to current industry standards to support biologics product testing, specifically monoclonal antibodies.
- Flexible and adaptable: fast paced environment with changing timelines/priorities
- Meticulous attention to detail in following procedures, preparing written documentation, and execution of experiments.
- Clear communication skills: able to share data and work as well as communicate issues/complications clearly.
- Highly cooperative/team player: matrixed lab environment (shared responsibilities)
