Job Description



Teva is searching for a Global R&D Legal Counsel based in West Chester, PA. The position will provide primary legal support for R&D activities in North America as part of the Global R&D Legal team.

Job responsibilities include:


  • Counseling on vendor engagement, regulatory compliance, pharmacovigilance, and performing contract drafting and negotiation for confidentiality, research consultant services, pre-clinical, bioequivalence, material transfer, and research agreements as well as other legal documents associated with both bench and clinical research.
  • The position will be responsible for collaborating with the internal compliance team to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies, and the internal procurement team to ensure appropriate pricing.





  • A minimum of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited Law School
  • Admitted to practice in a US state (preferably Pennsylvania or New Jersey)
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of legal experience in healthcare-related fields
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and professionally
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience counseling research clients
