A Day in the Life of our Lead Product Development Scientist

  • Lead the development of robust pharmaceutical formulations and processes including reverse engineering setting the quality target product profile (QTPP), specifications and constraints.
  • Use of contemporary data analysis and risk management techniques to assess strategies, prioritize activities and initiatives using QbD principles (ICHQ8-12)
  • Become a champion of data driven approaches to development and digital CMC transformation.
  • Be an integral member of a team who will be responsible for overall product development of novel respiratory medicines
  • Identification and implementation of innovative opportunities to support process and formulation optimisation approaches
  • Develop professional relationships across multiple departments within the business unit

Who we are looking for

Are you….

  • Educated to Degree Level in a Science related subject with Strong industrial experience.

Do you have?

  • First-hand experience of GMP environments
  • Experience in leading formulation and process development projects is essential.
  • Experience with data analytics and awareness of digital platforms would be an advantage
  • Experience with material science would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills and IT skills
  • Be able to work as a flexible lead member of a project team, be quality orientated, be aware and work to tight deadlines
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and flexibility to re-prioritise work schedule
