Senior Manager - Laboratory Automation (R&D)

 We would like to invite applications for the role of Senior Manager – Laboratory Automation (R&D) at our site in Waterford.   The role is of critical importance to maintain Teva’s strength in combination product development, and to help deliver on the Respiratory long-range plan. Respiratory R&D is seeking a highly innovative, data-driven and self-motivated individual with experience in design automation of laboratory testing, of respiratory products or similar, analytical method development/validation and qualification / validation activities for automated equipment and supporting software in accordance with Computerised System Software Development Lifecycle Procedures.

A Day in the Life of our Senior Manager – Laboratory Automation (R&D)

  • Management of a project team including analytical, engineering and technical services personnel.
  • Identification of new opportunities for automation within the laboratory process
  • Design, introduction to site and validation of new automation equipment for laboratory testing of respiratory products.
  • Simulating and testing these processes or equipment to ensure they function as desired
  • Developing and maintaining clear and accurate documentation of automation equipment or processes
  • Computerised System Validation
  • Troubleshooting automated processes or equipment when errors occur
  • System Life Cycle Maintenance and ongoing calibration of automated equipment.
  • Organise testing on automated equipment with project groups to optimise output.
  • Contribute to production of Module 3 regulatory submissions

Who are we looking for?

Are you….

  • Educated to Degree, or Masters level in chemistry/engineering (or related subject) with industry experience in automation of laboratory testing of respiratory products or similar.
  • Experienced in analytical method development/validation and qualification / validation activities for automated equipment and supporting software in accordance with Computerised System Software Development Lifecycle Procedures.

 

 

 

Do you have….

  • Multivariate Data Analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Experience of working to current Good Manufacturing Practice and/or Good Laboratory Practice and implementing policies and procedures in line with regulatory guidelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication; collaboration and team building skills.
  • Good planning and organising skills & adaptable to changing priorities.
