We would like to invite applications for the role of Human Resources Manager at our Waterford site. As a key member of the HR Team for Ireland, this role will provide an expert and professional HR service to the Waterford business units, driving the HR / Business agenda to enable business results through the integration of HR strategies. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role will offer strong generalist HR partnership to the business, with a focus on the areas of Employee relations, total reward, and workforce planning/analytics for the site.
- Deploy global/standardised HR strategy in partnership with the local Business to drive the achievement of business objectives in the following key areas: performance management, Employee /Labour relations, workforce planning and analytics, and compensation management.
- Act as HRBP to BU Managers and related employee groups.
- Lead employee / Union consultations; Act as business partner in IR relations matters, providing excellent Employee relations support to Managers and employees.
- Apply Workforce planning models, and COL reporting as part of annual Budgeting / forecasting processes.
- Foster a diverse workplace that enables all employees to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
- Oversee employee centred benefit schemes including the company pension, and share schemes.
- Lead / support key HR projects, and HR deliverables as required.
- Support the global and local cultural, engagement and change initiatives and implementation plans
Are you….
- Educated to Degree level in HR/IR/ER; or equivalent CIPD qualification.
- Experienced in the area of Human Resource management in a manufacturing / operations environment, ideally in a global organisation.
Do you have….
- Demonstrable experience in Employee Relations specifically consultation and union negotiations;
- Knowledge and understanding of Irish employment legislation, its interpretation and implementation, and of employment practices specific to Ireland.
- Broad HR generalist knowledge to maintain positive employee relations and engagement.
- Skilled at using effective listening, probing and investigatory skills to handle sensitive enquiries and conversations with discretion, composure and compassion.
- Strong analytical mind-set, adept at collating and analysing detailed information, diagnosing problems and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Familiar with Employee compensation models, and benefit programmes.
- Ability to deliver high levels of performance and service excellence while managing workload in a collaborative team environment
- Self-motivated, strong communicator and Team player.
