What you will be doing:
- Monitor and check the compliance of used work equipment, work places and organisation.
- Ensure work safety regulations and create a safe and healthy work environment.
- Coordinate the instructions provided by the company providing the safety at work service or, if necessary, conduct instructions by self.
- Participate in the activities implementing new technologies and commissioning equipment and work spaces.
- Control of timely testing and proper inspections of all potentially dangerous equipment.
- Timely checks of employees' competence related to work, health, fire and environmental safety.
- Employee training in the field of work safety and fire safety, rendering of emergency medical aid.
- Prepare reports, systematize and summarize the received information in compliance with the company/corporation procedure.
What you will need: your profile
- Knowledge of laws of the Republic of Lithuania governing personnel safety and labour relations.
- Experience in OHS or EHS
- Higher Education – Environmental field (advantage).
- Either work safety specialist certificate, first aid certificate, fire safety certificate would be an advantage.
- Documentation skills.
- Lithuanian and English language.
- Good communication and cooperation skills.
