The opportunity

 

We are currently looking for an Engineer - Metrologist within the production team, based in Vilnius, Lithuania. 

How you’ll spend your day

 

  • Performing instrument calibration, metrological inspections, and ensuring its reliable operation.
  • Planning and performing calibration activities with computerized management system.
  • Supervising local and foreign contractors while performing calibrations for sophisticated equipment.
  • Ordering parts, materials and services necessary for equipment calibration and repairs.
  • Ensuring correct management and storage of technical/other type of documentation.
  • Preparing new and updating already implemented work procedures and instructions, training personnel and documenting trainings according to procedure requirements.
  • Complying with Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices.

Your experience and qualifications

 

  • University or college degree in the  Engineering (electrical/mechanical) field.
  • Fundamental knowledge of physics, chemistry, electrical, mechanic laws and measuring equipment working principles.
  • Attentive to details, curious, proficient with mechanical, measuring instruments and computer applications.
  • At least two years of working experience in a similar field of engineering or production would be an advantage.
  • GMP knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Fluent Lithuanian and English language.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, work in a team and collaboration with other (production, quality) departments.
  • Good collaboration skills, strong responsibility and accountability characteristics.
