A day in Automation
In your new role as Automation Engineer (PCS7 Engineer) (m/f/d) you will be part of a team that is responsible for the integration, support and development of various control systems in the automation sector.
Your main tasks will include:
- Working on internal projects to expand and optimize the existing PCS7 control systems
- Development and implementation of automation solutions with Siemens PCS7
- Support in creation of functional specifications, HMI designs and test protocols
- Support in troubleshooting, maintenance and optimization of PCS7 systems
- Documenting the developed solutions and providing training to coworkers
Who are we searching for
You are
- A team player, who takes initiative and has a structured way of working
- Experienced in PCS7 as well as other automation systems such as WinCC, TIA Portal, etc.
- Also experienced in the process industry, particularly in the chemical, pharmaceutical or food sectors
You have
- Completed vocational training or studies in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology, process technology or a comparable qualification with professional experience
- Sound knowledge and experience in programming with Siemens PCS7 environment
- Experience in the configuration of process control systems, HMI design and visualization
- Ability to work in a team, initiative and a structured way of working
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Experience with other automation systems such as TIA Portal, etc. as well as basic knowledge of the chemical or pharmaceutical industry and working in a GMP environment would be welcome
