A day as Accountant

In your new role as Accountant (m/f/d) you will manage the monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting process for several German and European group entities according to US-GAAP. Furthermore, you are responsible for managing all General Ledger and Reporting related accounting activities like bad debts provisions, several accruals, and deferred tax calculation et cetera with focus on US-GAAP and HGB. You will support the initial set-up and carve in of all GL and reporting activities of additional European legal entities of the Teva Group into our Accounting Center. Monthly VAT declarations in Germany and in several European countries will also be part of you work as well as the coordination of the SOX compliance work for all entities and you will create further awareness of importance of SOX compliance. You will support and coordinate external and internal audit requests by providing account analysis. In addition, will support and lead complex and international ad-hoc projects and ad-hoc reporting requests.

Do you have…

… at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
… several years of professional experience with financial reporting and strong accounting knowledge regarding journals entries
… a strong knowledge of US-GAAP, local GAAP’s (HGB) and SOX, SAP (N20) and Microsoft Office applications is self-evident for you
… strong communication skills as well as fluent English language skills should be a given
