A day in Medical Affairs

Within this position Medical Science Liaison (neurology: migraine, multiple sclerosis), you will be responsible for establishing partnerships in the area of Hamburg, Schleswig Holstein, Bremen as well as parts of Lower Saxony and  North Rhine Westphalia with external experts (EE) to build advocacy and promote scientific exchange. You will be in charge of education and training of scientific community and functions within Teva (sales reps, marketing and other commercial functions, market access, key account management). You will be supporting development, pre-launch, launch and post-launch medical activities of Teva’s drug products.


In addition, you will be building strong collaboration with medical advisors and within cross-functional teams and participating, coordinating and leading internal and external medical/ scientific projects and initiatives, e.g. symposia and advisory boards. In cooperation with medical advisors, you will be in charge of medical support: analysis of recent medical and scientific information on products and therapeutic areas; maintenance of recent knowledge (communication, training, conferences, congress, etc.).


Furthermore, you will be co-responsible for Clinical Development and Trial Support (identification of clinical investigators and facilitation into Teva-sponsored clinical trials; support of investigational sites, as part of a cross-functional team).You will be, in cooperation with clinical operation, the point of contact for investigator initiated studies.

…in depth focused on scientific medical topics and can communicate them efficiently to various audience

… responsible for mapping of EE in line with segments as well as for providing advanced level scientific information and data to healthcare professionals to ensure quality and accuracy of medical and scientific information on new treatment options including Teva products, selected areas of therapeutic interest and pipeline overviews

… a great proven ability to develop and foster peer-to-peer, credible relationships with health care professionals


Do you have…

… a Master's or PhD in medicine, pharmacy or other life sciences

… a solid medical expertise in the therapeutic area (neurology: migraine, multiple sclerosis) as well as insights of the pharmaceutical market and business, including healthcare system and of guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry?

…outstanding communication skills, enthusiasm, ability to influence and negotiate with EE as well as strong personal integrity, credibility, customer focus?

… first experience as MSL, alternatively field force activities for several years?

… excellent business communication skills in English and German and are you able to coach and mentor colleagues?

…a valid driver’s license and are open for traveling within in the area of Hamburg, Schleswig Holstein, Bremen as well as parts of Lower Saxony and  North Rhine Westphalia
