We are in search for qualified candidate for the key role of Site General Manager - Troyan, based in Troyan, Bulgaria.

The opportunity

 

The General Manager for the Troyan site in Bulgaria will be instrumental in leading an important sites in the network. He/she will provide the leadership, direction, and overall oversight of the site with 280 employees. It oversees annual prod-ex of ~ 12,2M$, with Raw materials - all together ~ 65M$ budget management. The Site GM will have the responsibility for Production, Quality, MS&T, HR, Supply Chain, EHS, Engineering, and Finance and will be responsible to ensure that the corporate strategy is executed efficiently and effectively. He/she will need to be an exceptional leader who can deal with a high degree of complexity and the introduction of new technologies, with strong problem solving and transformational mindset and OPEX [lean] skills.

This role requires someone skilled in building a strong team culture and in developing capabilities as well as leadership skills. Specific responsibilities include:

•    Build and shape the employee workforce at every level.
•    Build and evolve the employee culture and mindset.
•    Support the ongoing remediation, which requires strong technical, quality and GMP leadership. A strong technical background would be a plus.
•    Balance short-term operational delivery and improvement needs with implementation of a longer-term strategic plan for the site – transformation ahead, need to plan long-range plan.
•    Support Teva’s Corporate Goals – Understand & contribute to the achievement of Teva’s goals at the regional and global levels.
•    Responsible for completing all training requirements and maintaining 100% compliance with all assignments.  
•    Responsible for maintaining work areas and performing job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) instructions.
•    Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned.

Your experience and qualifications

 

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

 

Education/Certification/Experience:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, BSc in Engineering or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
•    Minimum10+ years of progressive work experience in a business-facing or manufacturing setting.

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

•    Basic understanding of the Teva portfolio and practical experience in the relevant technologies required.
•    Adequate practical experience working in a regulated production facility (production and/or packaging) required.
•    Basic experience in a global function – gaining a perspective broader than the plant.
•    Advanced experience in regulatory inspections, investigations and discussions/interactions with regulatory bodies required.
•    Comprehensive experience working in multiple plants, within different regions and with different technologies, if possible.
•    Industry networking experience – membership in trade associations – leverage thought leadership and next practices within Teva environment.
•    Expert level knowledge and experience with OPEX behaviors, principles and tools required, with a demonstrated successful OPEX transformational leadership.
