In  August 2016 Actavis has been acquired by Teva Pharmaceutical. In Bulgaria we are the largest employer in the pharmaceutical industry with near 1700 employees in the two manufacturing plants (Dupnitsa and Troyan); sales and marketing organization and in a number of global corporate functions based in our country. As a Teva company, in October 2020 Actavis has started the process of re-branding and anticipating the Teva brand.

 

We are looking for motivated candidate for the position of IT On-Site Support Specialist, who will work on IT projects, support and maintain our infrastructure and end users. This position will be based in Troyan.
 

Main responsibilities

 

•    Manages and identifies the prioritization and resolution of basic IT problem tickets
•    Responds to the help desk calls and emails
•    Determines source of computer problems (hardware, software, user access, etc.) and makes corrections as needed
•    Provides desktop support to all staff either in person or via phone/MS Teams, including set-up, overview and training for new employees
•    Provides support on all laptops, desktops, software and/or network problems (wireless, printing, etc.)
•    Installs and configures local and network based printers.
•    Maintains an accurate inventory of all desktops, laptops, and other equipment as necessary
•    Actively works on projects with IT Operations Team and all other organizational units
•    Ensures proper documentation
 

Main requirements

 

•    High school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred
•    Relevant experience in IT support
•    Good computer literacy skills in Microsoft Operating Systems, Windows Operating Systems including Windows Server, MS Exchange, Office products, networking principles and PC hardware, DHCP and DNS, Active Directory, Storages and backups 
•    Knowledge of Internet protocols including TCP/IP and related protocols in a switched Ethernet environment
•    Knowledge and skills for working with databases
•    Knowledge of (and ability to work with) Enterprise level workstation imaging techniques and tools used to deploy workstations
•    Working knowledge of AV devices, mobile platforms, Apple iOS and Android
•    Excellent communication and team work skills
•    Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
•    Enthusiasm, resilience, responsibility and a positive attitude
•    Working level of English- both written and verbal
