Packaging Operator – 5 Month Contract
Location: Scarborough, Ontario
Shift: Day 6:00 AM – 2:15 PM
Join a fast-paced team where your attention to detail and commitment to quality help deliver trusted products to customers worldwide. As a Packaging Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
Requirement: Must successfully pass a penicillin allergy test prior to onboarding
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Operate packaging equipment in accordance with the Master Packaging Order (MPO)
- Follow EH&S policies, GMPs, and controlled procedures (SOPs, EMs, WIs, JAs)
- Perform basic equipment setup, including programming batch info and cleaning/assembly
- Troubleshoot and fine-tune equipment within your area of responsibility
- Inspect finished products and complete documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized packaging area
- Support OPEX initiatives (OEE, SMED, RCPS, Kaizen, 5S)
- Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and operate equipment properly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude with high-speed machinery
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures (OH&S Act, WHMIS)
- Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills
- Solid math and writing skills (online assessment required for interview consideration)

The typical hiring range for this position is $20.48 per hour. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.
