Job Description

We are currently seeking a Traffic Coordinator to join the Teva Canada team!

The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for coordination of International Shipments, carrier scheduling, all related export documentation, inbound delivery appointment scheduling/coordination with carriers, and receiving as per due dates.  Freight invoicing review and invoicing approvals.  Weekly review, analysis and reconciliation of the Global Out of Stock report, providing a logistics team response to the Global Supply Chain OOS report. To maintain and facilitate Teva Canada to be in compliance with Canadian, U.S. and international Customs laws, including the Transportation of Dangerous good Regulations.

Tasks and responsiblities will include but are not limited to:

Shipment planning for International shipments

  • Run General Inventory Report  for  commercial exports
  • Creation and circulation of email communication to advise Teva stakeholders of released US commercial shipments pending immediate export
  • Book Orders In Oracle based on due Dates and Requirements for US commercial export
  • Scheduling and Coordination of loads out of NNV (30 Novo) and NHD (Hood Rd) with Carriers & Broker for international shipments.
  • Email Daily Sheet of Orders to Shipped to warehouse Supervisors & Material Handlers
  • with Lot Numbers, total skid count & Oracle Numbers to indicate what will be booked for US export
  • Provide Support to Warehouse/ Distribution through tracking of off-site storage inventory to avoid a back order situation
  • Weekly review, analysis and reconciliation of the Global Out of Stock report, providing a logistics team response to the Global Supply Chain OOS report
  • Updating of shipment details in TCC portal, to include both 30 Novo and Hood Road locations.
  • Monitor Controlant mailbox in Outlook and address issues as they occur.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse Supervisor to maintain and adjust temperature monitor inventories as required.          

Export documentation

  • Prepare documentation, including the production or review of the B13A export declaration
  • Issue paperwork accordingly (scan, fax)
  • Ensuring Accuracy of Documentation Completed & Sign off
  • Approve invoices for payment in Oracle
  • Prepare Documentation for Customs Broker and Carrier
  • Update all  Teva US & EU orders in T.C.C. System(Teva Control Centre)

Import/Customs Support:

  • Cross training to provide support to the Customs Import personnel, including activities surrounding Customs clearance and proper coding of import documentation as required to meet our compliance obligations to various government departments.
  • Review import documents for accuracy to be in compliance with customs regulations.
  • Coordinate in bound shipments
  • Scheduling /Coordination of all Inbound Deliveries based on due dates/ requirements for inter-company transfers, 3rd party warehousing and local vendors, etc….
  • Track on spreadsheet in shared drive.
  • Follow up & Notification to all appropriate personnel to meet orders due dates & commitments
  • Provide guidance to couriers and truck drivers regarding the delivery or pickup of shipments.


  • High school completed;
  • Certified Customs Specialist designation required
  • 3 + years previous Customs Brokerage and Transportation experience
  • Oracle, Inventory systems, Excel / Outlook / Power Point
  • Familiarity with Customs and Transportation regulations.
  • Transport of dangerous Goods regulations, Customs Regulations including both imports and exports.
