Teva Canada is happy to announce the continuation of the Summer Student Intern Program for 2026. Summer employment opportunities will be from May to August 2026. This program is eligible for students enrolled in a post-secondary program and who will return to full-time studies in September 2026. 

Corporate Communication Support Intern at 30 Novopharm Court in Toronto
Business Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday
Hybrid role, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Communications & Corporate Affairs at Teva Canada is a new and rapidly evolving function built to strengthen how we communicate - internally, externally, and digitally. We serve as the storytellers and strategic communicators for the organization, helping shape Teva Canada’s reputation, culture, and employee experience during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and refine content for internal channels, including drafting, editing, formatting, and preparing communications materials.
  • Support the coordination and execution of communications initiatives such as town halls, leadership updates, employee events, and executive engagements.
  • Maintain communication assets and calendars, ensuring accuracy across critical paths, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assist with digital and intranet updates, including SharePoint uploads, intranet postings, and ongoing content maintenance.
  • Help track engagement metrics and prepare short summaries, dashboards, or simple reports.
  • Support deck preparation and presentation materials, contributing to slide design, copy editing, and content alignment.
  • Provide general administrative and project support, including logistics, scheduling support, and gathering inputs from stakeholders across the business.
  • All other tasks and duties as assigned by the Manager, Marketing Communications.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset.

Your Skills and Experience

The following general criteria must be met in order to apply:

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada and 18 years of age.
  • Registered as a full-time, post-secondary student in 2026-2027, and returning to full-time studies in fall 2026 – must provide proof of enrollment.
  • Available to work from May 2026 through to August 2026.
  • Satisfactory completion of criminal background checks.

 

Consideration Preference:

  • All children of regular, full-time or regular part-time employees, who meet functional requirements, will be provided first consideration.
  • External Summer Student applicants are considered if a Summer Student position cannot be filled from internally referred candidates.
  • Positions require specific academic focus and/or related work experience, and preference will be given to candidates who best meet these qualification requirements.
  • Candidates who do not meet specific education and/or experience requirements will only be considered for roles that do not have function-specific limitations.
  • Applications for Summer Student positions will ONLY be accepted between (no exceptions) posting period from March 11 to March 20, 2026.

 

Please Note:

  • Students may work at Teva Canada for a maximum of two (2) years.
  • If selected for a Summer Student opportunity, the student must work the full duration of the contract and achieve a Successful rating in final performance review to be eligible to return to Teva Canada.
  • Applications from multiple family members will be accepted, however, only one (1) hire will be considered per family. This practice is in place to provide greater opportunity to the children of Teva Canada employees.
