Reporting to the SVP WW Finance Strategy and Operations, the VP Finance GBS (Global Business Services), Innovative Reporting, Transfer & Best Practices will serve as a strategic global leader driving finance innovation, automation, and standardization. This role is responsible for transforming financial operations through scalable digital solutions, AI-enabled reporting, and adoption of best practices that optimize profitability, compliance, and service delivery.
The VP will lead Teva’s GBS Finance operations and oversee the development of next-generation global reporting tools, ensuring rapid, data-driven decision-making in support of Teva’s 2030 strategic objectives. By embedding digital-first practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, this role will position Teva Finance as a world-class, future-ready organization.
The position can be based in Tel Aviv, Israel or Bangalore India
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Transformation & Innovative Reporting
- Build and execute a digital-first financial reporting strategy aligned with Teva’s 2030 objectives.
- Transform reporting processes using advanced technologies—including AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation—to deliver real-time, predictive, and actionable insights.
- Establish governance frameworks for responsible use of AI and digital tools in finance.
- Continuously scan the market for emerging finance technologies and integrate relevant innovations into Teva’s global finance ecosystem.
Finance Strategy & Capability Development
- Lead Teva’s finance transformation agenda, focusing on digital finance innovation and capability building.
- Foster a culture of agility, continuous learning, and experimentation in the finance community.
- Champion adoption of next-generation finance technologies (RPA, AI/ML, cloud-based solutions) to strengthen organizational capability.
Finance Best Practices & Process Alignment
- Design, implement, and continuously improve finance best practices with an emphasis on automation, standardization, and digital enablement.
- Ensure alignment of financial processes under the “One Teva” approach, with streamlined global governance and optimized workflows.
- Partner across Corporate Accounting, TGO, R&D, Commercial BUs, and IT to introduce innovative digital finance solutions that drive measurable business impact.
Financial Business Partnering (FBP) Enablement
- Equip finance teams with the tools, training, and digital platforms to elevate their role as strategic business partners.
- Embed analytics, automation, and predictive insights into FBP activities to improve decision quality and speed.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to leverage finance innovation for enterprise-wide optimization.
Global Business Services (GBS) Finance Leadership
- Define and execute the long-term strategy for GBS Finance with an emphasis on digital transformation, automation, and data-driven efficiency.
- Ensure high performance across all areas of GBS Finance—including Commercial Finance, Finance Ops, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, and R&D—through consistent application of best practices and digital enablement.
- Create a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centric service delivery.

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or Information Systems.
- MBA or Master’s in Finance strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance transformation, shared services, or GBS leadership.
- Proven success in driving digital finance initiatives (e.g., AI/ML-based reporting, RPA, cloud finance platforms).
- Experience in multinational, matrixed organizations; pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement certification a plus.
- Strong track record of leading finance innovation programs that drive measurable efficiency, accuracy, and business value.
