Location

This role can be based in any EU location where Teva has an office, or in New Jersey (United States) or Tel Aviv (Israel) office.

The opportunity

Responsible for oversight and execution IMO, WO, and GR processes within SC. Ensures alignment of processes with financial and operational goals, focusing on inventory management, write-off reduction, and goods receipt optimization. A member of the Global Supply Planning org. within SC, will work closely cross-functionally with peers in Supply Chain (GSC & Commercial), Finance, and other departments to drive data-informed decisions, monitor performance, and continuously improve these processes.

 

Success in this role will be measured by the improvement and alignment of the IMO, WO, and GR processes with operational and financial goals. Key metrics include days of inventory, reduction of markets write-offs, and optimization of GR accuracy. Effective cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders and successful mentoring of the Senior Analyst will be essential for proactive identification of gaps and opportunities, driving continuous process improvement and delivering measurable outcomes aligned with AOP/LRP objectives

How you’ll spend your day

  • Inventory Management Office (IMO) 
    • Oversee and coordinate IMO initiatives: by regularly engaging w/ initiative owners to assess progress, update status, & making sure deviations are timely addressed
    • Lead reconciliation working with financial inventory: Leading reconciliation  between working invent. levels & financial invent., ensuring accurate alignment
    • Coordinate Inventory Council (IC): Prepare and facilitate IC by presenting IMO progress, identify gaps, and recommending mitigation strategies 
    • Lead inventory excellence across TGO by creating and integrating best practices of IMO & lean planning concepts

 

  • Goods Receipt (GR) Process
    • Steer GR reviews: lead regular reviews analyzing data against targets, identifying deviations, & assessing inventory Impact
    • Coordinate GR-push review: Lead review within Inventory Council, determining if GR adjusm. are needed, and driving GR push if needed

 

  • Write-Offs (WO) Process
    • Oversee WO Process: Provide strategic oversight to the day-to-day team for the orchestration of the WO tracking and operational WO reviews
    • Lead executive WO reviews by integrating insights to drive alignment and accountability in WO performance metrics
    • Drive excellence in WO mgmt by overseeing assessment of future inventory at risk and policies to ensure optimization and tight compliance to company targets

 

  • Responsible for maintaining, ensuring and improving process excellence & adherence by developing and maintaining SOPs, guiding site controllers and site SC on best practices, driving problem solving for IMO, GR and WO gaps to plan, providing training to upskill, measuring adherence, providing system support etc.

Your experience

  • Professional: Strong experience in SC and inventory mgmt. preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Advanced financial knowledge to effectively manage inventory-related financial metrics.

 

  • Essential: Robust analytical & problem-solving skills with an ability to oversee data tracking, KPIs, and inventory perform. Metrics; Capable of maintaining accuracy in financial reconciliations & providing insights for strategic decision-making; Proven experience in balancing conflicting objectives (e.g., cost vs. service); Strong storytelling & presentation skills ; Cross-functional collaboration & stakeholder management, effective communication. 

 

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams; strong stakeholder mgmt. skills, adept at facilitating comms. & aligning teams across functions

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Inventory Management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. BA/MA in Supply Chain Management, Financial or Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Advanced knowledge of financial and supply chain processes, incl. Inventory, WO and GR processes. Proven expertise in financial analysis and budget management in relation to inventory. Experience in data-driven decision-making, including KPI monitoring and reporting, and  working in a large, complex matrixed environment with global processes & governance structures.
