The Microsoft 365 Governance & Operations Lead sits within Teva’s Digital Workforce COE and is responsible for governance, lifecycle management, and operational excellence across the Microsoft 365 platform. The Digital Workforce COE provides expertise, best practices, enablement, and reusable assets to drive enterprise‑aligned delivery and adoption of digital productivity applications. This role focuses primarily on the application side of the M365 platform, ensuring the effective governance, configuration, and enablement of M365 applications such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Planner, Whiteboard, and with connection to the other MS products like Power Platform, Power BI and Copilot Studio. It will work in close collaboration with the M365 Infrastructure teams to ensure that application governance aligns with Teva’s underlying platform, security standards, and operational foundations.The role partners closely with IT Operations (ITOA), CADS, Corporate Functions IT, and other delivery groups, supporting a coordinated operating model that ensures consistency, security, and lifecycle readiness across all Microsoft 365 services.

 

How You’ll Spend Your Day

Governance & Teva/ MS Evergreen Management

  • Lead and maintain Teva’s Evergreen and Microsoft's Evergreen governance framework, ensuring readiness for changes introduced by Microsoft's continuous update cycle.
  • Manage governance routines that align the dynamic M365 application suite with legal, compliance, and privacy expectations.
  • Define and maintain the RACI for governance, technical ownership, and lifecycle operations across M365 applications.
  • Ensure the Digital Workforce COE governance model is consistently applied across M365 services, reflecting its role as both enterprise enabler and standards‑setter.

Operations & Technical Ownership

  • Oversee day‑to‑day operational excellence for all major M365 applications, maintaining a structured model of application‑level ownership within the Digital Workforce COE.
  • Coordinate closely with M365 Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless alignment between application governance and platform‑level operations, security baselines, and global standards.
  • Support and guide 365 Application Admins and Power Platform administrators, roles identified within the COE’s application ownership structure.

Change Control & Compliance

  • Lead structured M365 change‑control processes aligned with Teva IT procedures.
  • Ensure changes undergo appropriate review with business and technical stakeholders, including architecture and governance participants.
  • Maintain governance practices around documentation, reuse of assets, naming conventions, audit logs, and guardrails aligned with COE standards.

Security & Risk Management

  • Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Privacy teams to ensure alignment of M365 applications with enterprise security requirements, including DLP, Purview, and external collaboration protections.
  • Work closely with and align to the DDAI governance group, following structured governance routines such as intake, feasibility assessment, compliance validation, guardrail enforcement, documentation, and ongoing governance updates.
  • Ensure risk registers, governance tags, audit logs, and other asset‑tracking practices reflect DDAI standards.
  • Support continuous monitoring routines around performance KPIs, governance updates, and risk mitigation practices embedded in the DDAI operating model.

Lifecycle & Configuration Management

  • Support automation and standardization of platform and application asset discovery and management within the CMDB.
  • Maintain lifecycle management processes aligned with COE governance standards and enterprise IT requirements.
  • Ensure architectural reviews and technical design decisions leverage shared COE frameworks, templates, and guidelines.

Business Engagement & Adoption

  • Partner with the Digital Workforce COE to deliver coaching, training, office hours, and literacy programs that enhance adoption and responsible usage of M365 applications.
  • Act as a senior advisor to business leaders, ensuring that M365 capabilities are aligned with business outcomes and Teva’s digital workforce maturity.
  • Measure adoption, productivity gains, and maturity improvements in line with COE measurement frameworks (e.g., capability utilization, value realization, literacy progress).

Your Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience managing enterprise collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365 preferred).
  • Experience with IT governance, lifecycle management, or SaaS operations.
  • Strong knowledge of M365 applications, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience working in global, cross‑functional enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical or healthcare.
  • Hands‑on experience with Power Platform, Purview, and DLP capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CMDB integration and evergreen management.
