Job Description
This role is responsible for managing IT Software procurement as a part of the Software Global Procurement Category.
In this capacity, the role includes significant part Teva spend in the related Category.
This role is accountable for the implementation of procurement strategy, category management, supplier development, contract negotiation, risk management, stakeholder engagement and ongoing continuous improvement activities.
External spend with suppliers in the IT category is approximately $100M
Global IT Software category includes a team of 2 full-time employees who work collaboratively with senior IT leaders to implement strategic sourcing solutions and category initiatives for key areas. This position is expected to make a significant contribution to meeting company cost reduction goals – procurement savings expectations for the IT spend category is approximately $300M annually based on current spend.
Qualifications
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree with a major or concentration in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering. MBA may be an advantage.
Experience Required: 5 - 10 years’ work experience in the IT industry; 10 years’ experience operating on behalf of the Procurement Function within a large matrix organization preferred; proven experience and deep understanding of IT Software Procurement in high scale.

- Demonstrated ability working with cross-functional teams, managing multiple simultaneous projects and delivering quantifiable results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal – the ability to gain executive support, team player.
- Strong Interpersonal/Relationship Management Skills, ability to contribute to the pears' development as well as manage/develop suppliers
- Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking that drives strategy and creates innovative options
- Solid business judgment, able to anticipate impact of decisions and initiatives.
- Superior financial modeling and problem solving skills.
- Excellent supplier negotiation and conflict management skills.
Language requirements: Excellent written, verbal and presentation English skills
Travel Requirements – International: 10%
