The opportunity

This role will manage the Costing Activities and will be responsible for driving standardization, accuracy, and efficiency in costing processes across all Tapi (Technology and active pharmaceutical ingredients) operations.

 

We are looking for a talented candidate who will bring best practices, develop costing methodologies, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making, align with business objectives, and enhance financial performance

How you’ll spend your day

Costing Standardization & Efficiency:
Establish and lead the Center of Excellence for Costing, ensuring alignment with Tapi's organizational goals.
Define and implement standard costing methodologies, processes and policies across all Tapi entities.
Set objectives and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of    costing initiatives 

 

Capex Planning & Forecasting:
Lead Tapi CAPEX process (AOP, LBE & Actual)
Ensure consistency in cost structures, reporting and analysis.

 

Cost Analysis & Insights:
Provide data-driven insights to support pricing, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
Conduct cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.

 

Oversee Inventory related financial activities:
Balance sheet reconciliation, ongoing monitoring, and resolution of key financial matters such as valuation, provisions, monthly reporting and adjustments

 

Technology & Automation:
Leverage ERP systems and analytical tools to streamline costing processes.
Promote the adoption of new technologies to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency.

 

Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with finance, operations, supply chain, GMS&T and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost data.
Serve as a subject matter expert, providing training and guidance to finance teams and business units.
Manage financial aspects of Tapi's network operations analysis, including financial modeling to support business decisions, scenarios simulations, NPV analysis and profitability assessments 

Your experience and qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance – must. Master’s degree- preferred, 
•    Minimum 10+ years of experience in costing, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries. 
•    Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. 
•    Analytical skills with expertise in costing models and methodologies.
•    Agile and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
•    Resilient under pressure, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
•    Ability to lead projects, work independently
•    Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.  
•    Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver innovative solutions
