Job Description

•    Preparation of timely, accurate, and relevant quarterly financial statements according to US GAAP and yearly statutory financial statements
•    Perform accounting activities in collaboration with external auditors
•    SOX and compliance – ensure reporting processes are in line with SOX and Teva Compliance policy
•    Perform balance sheet reconciliations, and review accounts to ensure all financial transactions are properly reflected in the general ledger
•    Providing accounting support to business units and Corporate functions as part of the period close activities and in accordance to regulatory requirements and corporate policies
•    Perform period end analytical analysis and controlling procedures over financial records, systems and interfaces 
•    Supporting inventory counts process according to accounting and statutory policies

 

Qualifications

•    Academic degree in Accounting. CPA - must.
•    Big 4 audit experience – an advantage
•    Adequate knowledge of compliance & controls - SOX compliance and local financial regulations
•    Previous technical experience with US GAAP reporting standards – an advantage
•    Excellent ability to work independently and proactively 
•    Team player with good interpersonal skills 
•    Experience working with Oracle, SAP or similar ERP system – an advantage
•    Excellent experience in Excel
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Strong English skills, written and verbal
•    Ability to work under pressure
