Job Description

 

The main role of the Enterprise Architect is to provide leadership, direction and supervision of the architectural aspects of Teva’s Enterprise Architecture road map implementation. This position will cover several IT management units (ITMUs): Infrastructure & Corporate functions. In addition the Enterprise Architect will lead and participate in digital innovation activities

 

Major duties and responsibilities

 

  • Lead an effective Business-Outcome-Driven Enterprise Architecture practice.
  • Responsible for the ITMUs applications and technologies portfolio management. Lead the process of introducing new applications and technologies into the portfolio together with the ITMUs, while making sure that existing applications and technologies in Teva are considered first.Maintain the required mapping between business capabilities to existing systems and high level, End to End business processes integration across the systems landscape.
  • Advise the Chief Enterprise Architect on the preferred future directions in regard to the IT architecture, roadmap, implementation and optimal timing of existing and new IT systems.
  • Maintain the technology landscape and evaluate with the ITMUs how new technologies will provide new business capabilities and efficiencies.
  • Maintain the Infrastructure Enterprise Architecture according to the approved strategic Infrastructure plan.
  • Act as an Infrastructure and Security solution architect for strategic projects
  • Act as the solution architect for the corporate functions ITMU – develop the solution level architecture for the Corporate Functions (HR, Legal, Finance) systems.
  • Responsible for identifying trends, disruptive applications and technologies that can substantially impact the ITMU and business capabilities.
  • Responsible for Teva cloud strategy from Enterprise Architecture perspective: IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. In this capacity, define and govern the conditions and execution of Teva cloud strategy
  • Ensures existing and new architecture landscape components adhere to IT security standards as defined by Teva IT Security
  • Maintain major systems and technologies roadmap. Plan with the ITMUs the implementation of this roadmap – in specific: major upgrades, technology changes and systems decommissioning.
  • Engage leading IT vendors, startups and consulting firms, to learn about their roadmaps and influence their directions to align with Teva needs.
  • Engage and support the ITMUs in performing Proof of Concepts of new applications and technologies.
  • Create and document Enterprise Architecture Standards.
  • Lead and participate in digital innovation activities that may transform the way Teva works

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • BSC in Computer Science or related discipline or 10+ years of relevant IT experience. MSC/MBA a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in large sized global company as a member of technology teams, practicing Enterprise and solutions architecture
  • 3+ years of experience in digital transformation architecture and activities
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud adoption mainly with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • A sustained record of success delivering complex IT Architecture and technology solutions to a diverse and global clientele.
  • Deep experience in working with technology and applications vendors
  • Experience both in complex Applications and Infrastructure landscapes – preferably with actual projects delivery of complex IT systems
  • Up to date experience with cyber threats and how to build architectures to mitigate cyber risks
