Job Description
- This positon is part of International Markets Supply Chain team and will be responsible for (third party) warehousing and last mile activities including Latin America, Far East, India, Middle East, Africa, Russia and Eurasian countries. This role will focused on strategy implementation, operational excellence, cost, sustainability and analytics (KPIs).
- Being part of the team, you would need a deep understanding of business environment in the different markets, professional leadership and hands on approach to improve warehousing and last mile activities in the region. You would be working with the local country logistics and SC heads together with third party suppliers to align with Teva commercial and operational plans and needs. In addition, you would be working in close collaboration with Global Logistics, Quality, Procurement and Compliance among other functions in the organization
- This position will report to Director, head of Warehousing and Last Mile Distribution, Int'l markets. International travel is up to 20%.
General duties and responsibilities
• Supports Director, Head of warehousing and last mile, in development and implementation of regional warehouse and last mile strategy.
• Implement “best in class” operational and financial KPI and reporting models to establish highly integrated ways of working with regional and global SC, logistics , finance and commercial teams and key business partners.
• Support the local/regional teams managing the performance of logistics suppliers, to include MBR/QBR meetings, CI plans and related projects or tasks.
• Assess new technologies or IT tools to improve cost/service/quality/control. Work with IT and external service providers in implementation of advanced solutions.
• Work with markets to evaluate and improve service and cost
• Work with Global Logistics team to implement advanced processes such as AEO, FTZ and Track & Trace
Qualifications
- 5-7Y of experience including proven managerial experience in running/managing WH/Last mile operations.
- Bachelor degree in relevant fields or proven equivalent experience
- Background in multinational environment – Advantage. Location of this job is flexible
- Proven experience in project management
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationship, with different
- stakeholders and lead without authority (internal and external)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written), fluent English spoken, Spanish - benefit.
- Good ability to analyze and manipulate technical and complex data, and provide meaningful information providing insights and driving business decisions.
- Proven experience in managing logistics suppliers
- Experience with implementing ERP & WMS systems - advantage.
- Experience with design relevant and effective KPI and timely reports. Advanced Excel skills require
