Job Description

The Director of Procurement Finance will act as a business partner to senior leadership of Global Procurement and Facilities organization and will be responsible for partnering with procurement on: Category Strategy, Market trends, Vendors negotiations, Make vs Buy analysis, Contracts analysis and review, validation of procurement methodologies and data analysis to identify total cost of ownership opportunities. 
Roles & Responsibilities
Finance business partner to procurement management in an assigned procurement category
Support the Financial forecasting and reporting processes
Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence the leadership team in assigned procurement categories and business segments
Perform analysis of business cases (including make vs buy) and negotiations positions
Conduct ongoing reviews of categories to inform future category strategies and activities
Review and analyze financial terms in contracts 
Build strong relationships across functions within the company, work closely with various functions (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Accounts Payable, etc.) as lead contact on behalf of the above organizations
Involvement in other ad hoc projects as necessary

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Accounting. MBA advantage

7+ years professional finance experience in contracts analysis, market analysis, procurement
Strong Communication and partnering skills
Strong analytical skills, attention to details and bias for action
Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, SAP, Hyperion- an advantage
