Purpose of Position

Over the last three years Talent acquisition at Teva has been on a path of transformation to a truly global service supporting every part of our business in a consistent way. As we build beyond the foundation of this service we need to increase our partnership with the business by providing a true TA Centre of Excellence (COE) that is underpinned by delivery excellence. To help drive this exciting development of Teva is looking for a Director Talent Acquisition, International Markets. This role will be responsible for all elements of Talent Acquisition across many of our most dynamic countries from Russia to Japan and China to Chile. Each of these countries has its own specific demands and focus areas and success in this role will be built on demonstrating and understanding for the individual business challenges as well as the cultural differences. Strong consultative skills will be paramount with an analytical approach to assessing issues and providing practical resourcing solutions through direct partnership.
You will have strong stakeholder management skills, a high degree of business acumen and a good understanding of Teva’s key business drivers. You know how to ensure that recruitment partners such as agencies and RPOs deliver a high quality service and meet KPIs that are linked to our business objectives. You should be able to demonstrated implementation of demand planning solutions and use of analytics to determine gaps and trends, identify areas of opportunity, determine root causes and proactively make recommendations to the business to address human capital challenges. You are able to translate business needs into clear deliverables for our RPO partners, working effectively as a high level interface to ensure challenging, but realistic expectations are set and then met. This in part comes from having experience throughout the recruitment process and the ability to apply your expertise to getting the very best performance from our RPO partner: to provide a seamless, integrated service that meets business needs, but also from leveraging your understanding of new developments in the recruitment industry.

Key Responsibilities

You must be a strong leader with proven stakeholder management skills across a wide range of executive, peer and operational stakeholders and will be responsible for providing TA COE support  and ensuring the delivery of recruitment services within the region. You will be responsible for leading all the regions talent acquisition efforts related to:

  • Building a comprehensive demand plan to support Teva’s business needs in the region
  • Acting as a strong partner to business leaders at L2 and L3 by understanding hiring needs and providing consultation on talent acquisition strategies and challenges
  • Anticipate and solve business needs and problems by developing outcome orientated recruiting analytics that provide insights, to help drive decision making and provide practical solutions
  • Working with providers to develop new, efficient and scalable approaches to source, attract, screen, recruit, and select high quality candidates across all disciplines.
  • Driving continual sourcing for key talent segments. Interfacing with business leaders, and ensuring qualified talent is available to fill critical roles in part through attracting passive talent via our third party solutions
  • Operating in a complex, challenging environment with very minimal (often no) supervision where new solutions need to be created, as previous approaches are no longer fit our business needs. 
  • Ensuring the consistent use of our employer brand
  • Communicate effectively with business leaders and hiring managers to ensure the “global recruitment process” is understood and followed. Championing any changes that are required with in the region to improve the process
  • Develop internal and external business acumen for the International Markets business, research industry competitors and be aware of market conditions across this diverse region to develop better sourcing approaches in partnership with third party providers
  • Managing vendors (RPO-partner, agencies, search firms, etc.) to drive the recruitment process toward successful conclusion.
  • Lead project teams to design/implement/optimize TA focused projects. 
  • Contributing to the development of the global functional strategy for the Talent Acquisition
  • Provide leadership to the business and HR colleagues within the region on all aspects of Talent Acquisition

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required, an advanced degree would be a benefit. 
  • 15 years of Staffing/Recruitment experience, with 5+ years of significant vendor management experience required with broader HR experience a benefit 
  • A strong understanding of recruitment processes at all levels of an organization from entry level to Executive level positions.
  • Excellent relationship building skills, communication skills and team based project experience.
  • Practical knowledge of recruitment marketing and how to leverage social media
  • Experience of working within a large international corporate environment some of which spent within a consultant type role would be preferred  
  • Knowledge of  and experience of working within the Health care sector  would be a significant advantage, but not a requirement
