Job Description

Job Purpose 

The person we are seeking will be responsible for leading the Global Logistic organisation. He/She will be responsible for all warehousing, transportation and logistics activities.  This position will be responsible for defining the Global/ Regional & Local strategy for logistics, alligned with Global Supply Chain Management and all segments of  Teva. The focus will be on manufacturing warehouses, distibution centers, domestic distribution, transports customs and international freight including trade compliance and supply chain integrity. The jobholder will be responsible for managing the Logistics Footprint, Physical flow of all products and materials for all Business Units within Teva, to ensure that we deliver high quality, compliance, and service at optimized cost and in a safe environment. 

Major Accountabilities

•    Manage a global team of experts focusing on warehousing and transportation 
•    Develop integration and transparency of E2E logistics (vendor to customer) into Teva enterprise systems
•    Optimize the DC and Warehousing network
•    Lead continues network studies in order to stay aligned with market changes
•    Build a compliant network (Quality, Security, EHS)
•    Build data metrics in order to measure and improve performance
•    Support global projects (SAP, Packaging, …)
•    Connect with other departments to align business opportunities commercial / finance / QA / Security / Due diligence / EHS / Operations / R&D/ …
•    Build warehousing and transportation methods  standards and deploy/train the standards across 
•    Benchmark prices and standards, look for improvement opportunities
•    Work together with all stakeholders to get buy in for the projects
•    Provide knowledge and insight to the stakeholders
•    Provide oversight for all customs and trade activities
•    Leverage the scale in transportation and international freight to increase service and improve cost
•    Improve GDP across the network according to regional guidance and build the Teva require-ments
•    Stay on top of changing regulations across the world and adapt the network accordingly.
•    Matrix management of regional logistics and warehouses

Education: University Degree in Business / Logistics
Languages: English
•    12-15 years of experience in the field of Logistics or a comparable function in the pharmaceutical industry
