We are looking for a site operations lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our multi-disciplinary site in Sydney.
As our Site Operation Lead, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring seamless functioning of our buildings and infrastructure. Your role will involve developing and implementing key procedures aimed at ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our site with specific emphasis on our research and development activities driving innovation and maintaining high standards of productivity and compliance.

How you’ll spend your day
• Lead and manage the delivery of facilities and services operations, including maintenance of buildings, grounds, and essential services enabling innovation and excellence in therapeutic antibody development and supporting commercial business activities.
• Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop, implement, and maintain systems to facilitate compliance with relevant regulations, corporate standards, and initiative (i.e. ESG).
• Play a key role in the development and administration of a site wide environment, health, safety, and sustainability (EHSS) system to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Develop and execute an annual plan for refurbishments and upgrades of facility assets including major fit out and facility expansions to meet the current and future needs of the organization.
• Overview of contracted services, including but not limited to security, cleaning, waste, fire, and loss prevention services, and ensuring performance targets are met.
• Drive continuous improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders (landlord, contractors) regulatory bodies and internal teams to meet project specifications and requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of site staff. Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Your experience and qualifications
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent facilities management qualifications
• 7 years + experience in building management and FM service delivery, planning, prioritization, budgeting and financial management
• Knowledge of Codes of Practice, Australian Standards, Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations 2011, Building Code of Australia etc.
• Significant experience and relevant technical knowledge to manage the operations of complex laboratory systems, including but not limited to HVAC, purified water, and reticulated gas systems
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards
